On the November 1st long weekend I flew to Poland to spend some time with my family in Wrocław and Swidnica...

| Was
wandering around the centre of Wrocław and could only find
foreign-themed cafés so I chose this cute French-style place for a
coffee and croissant (served hot with honey drizzled over top!) |

| We visited the cemetery to mark All Saint's Day by lighting candles and laying flowers. It's a big deal in Poland to keep family graves looking well-visited. |

| "Modern" - it probably was in 1970! |

| My cousin's rabbit Psota in a trance. (Did you know rabbits trance when you put them on their back? This was the first I heard of it!) |

| Was happy to stumble upon a flea market taking over the centre of Swidnica on Sunday afternoon! |

| It's still very easy to find scenes straight from the past in Poland |
